Message From inmate Pascual E. Carpenter 91-A-5770

If you haven 1: heard of Shakoure Charpentier ... ... Then allow me the following Introduction:

I am the architect of several intriguing and forthcoming stories for the screen ... psychological thrillers, hectic suspense films, socio-urban dramas, and paranormal thrillers. As an ambitious newcomer to the world of screenwriting, I am determined to bring a more penetrating brand of story-art to the cinema public. Hailing from NYC's vibrant but unforgiving streets, my rebellious propensity for the written word began early in my youth; expressed through songl graffiti, poetry, social commentary, and now film. Yet, despite a troubled past and hardships of incarceration, I am now paving my own success story, hoping to demonstrate the metamorphosis that's possible when given the chance.

Among the accolades I've received for some of my scripts:

A lot of good work here; authentic~ credible; elements of each character are present with which the audience can identify.

-David Feldshuh, Prof. of Theater/Film, Cornell University

Very powerful stuff; .. .really impressed. James O'Barr, Theater Director

Wow. .. Quite a ride, really good awareness of the camera and what it can do.

Dr. W. Wetherbee, Prof. Emeritus/ English Dept. Cornell University

Story ideas are interesting and I encourage you to write. I like your use of words.

Dave Trottier, Script Consultant, Author, The ScreenWriter's Bible

What I really think is successful about his treatments is that both show a real writer at wor~ the kind of

dramatist and story-teller that is the most valuable asset that any project like this can have. Richard Hoehler, Writer, Actor, Third Watch

A blurb for one of my screenplays:

The Logan Exchange 2008 Shakoure E. Carpenter Imagine encountering a series of coincidences names, places, and events strikingly similar to those you read in a novel. Curious, you not only discover that you wrote the novel, but that you were once a NSA agent whose memory was reprogrammed for knowing too much. Crazy enough? Not if your bullet-dodging search for answers also leads you to a plot to use the same memory program against world leaders ... including the President.

2009 Quarter-Finalist, MovieMaker.com

Also under construction are other high-concept stories for you cinematic pleasure, e.g ....an uncanny twist to an epic battle, a rogue police unit in a foreign country, a portal to altered state of consciousness.

Hence, if you're a serious or highly ambitious player in the film industry, then I'm someone you should be interested in connecting with.
