Hello ladies I am prisoner in Maryland penal
system. I have been incarcerated now for 24 years. In that time I have
lost some of my family and friends. To be absolutely honest, its really
hard now not to have someone to correspond with. I have resorted to
meeting someone through this VFI PLUS Plan.
I have never been married. I am a
very spiritual and compassionate person. The kind of guy that could not
stand to see a person in the street or an animal hurt. When I was in my
youth my parent would awaken to find that I had brought a stranger in
off the street because I could not stand seeing a person homeless or not
having a place to go. You will find tears flowing down my face during a
sad story or where a person has overcome the odds. I was a very shy and
fearful person however, by the grace of God, I have come through these
obstacles to share my story to help another. What I know now is the
challenges we have suffered, is our platform to aid another, even from a
prison cell. Experience has been my best teacher.
Yes I have found myself in this
prison setting where I continue to build and improve by way of higher
education, various trades and social programs. I stay busy in the church
and am a
motivational speaker for an assortment of self help groups- victim
awareness and for youth.
I am in hopes of finding an open
minded, strong willed, honest and vibrant friend who can spend a few
minutes to write or email a few times a month. I enjoy meditating,
working out, reading all sorts of books, listening to music, enjoying the
outdoors and cooking. I like to eat out, and a woman that likes a lot of
contact. Hopefully there’s someone viewing who can overcome their fears
and prejudices about all people in prison.
In the bible,
John 1:46, where
Nathaniel says to Phillip “Can any good thing come out of Nazareth”. I
invite you to come and see….. But be careful who you entertain. You just
might entertain and angel.
